3. Slurry pump
Slurry pump refers to a machine that increases the energy of solid-liquid mixed medium by the action of centrifugal force (rotation of the pump impeller), and converts electrical energy into kinetic energy and potential energy of the medium. It is mainly applicable to: mining, power plants, dredging, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and petroleum industries.
Working principle
Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown from the center of the impeller to the outer edge and gains energy, leaving the outer edge of the impeller at high speed and entering the volute pump casing. In the volute pump casing, the liquid slows down due to the gradual expansion of the flow channel, and part of the kinetic energy is converted into static pressure energy, and finally flows into the discharge pipe at a higher pressure and is sent to the required place. When the liquid flows from the center of the impeller to the outer edge, a certain vacuum is formed in the center of the impeller. Since the pressure above the liquid surface of the storage tank is greater than the pressure at the pump inlet, the liquid is continuously pressed into the impeller.

2) Hydrocyclone
Hydrocyclone is a grading equipment that uses centrifugal force to accelerate the sedimentation of ore particles. It needs pressure to feed the ore, so it consumes a lot of power, but it occupies a small area, is cheap, has a large processing capacity, and has a high grading efficiency. It can obtain very fine overflow products and is mostly used as a grading equipment in the second stage of closed-circuit grinding.
Hydrocyclones are mainly used for grading, sorting, concentration and desludging in the mineral processing industry. When the hydrocyclone is used as a grading equipment, it is mainly used to form a grinding and grading system with the mill; when used as a desludging equipment, it can be used for desludging in the gravity separation plant; when used as a concentration and dehydration equipment, it can be used to concentrate the mineral processing tailings and send them to fill the underground mining tunnels. The hydrocyclone has no moving parts and a simple structure; the production capacity per unit volume is large and the area is small; the grading efficiency is high (up to 80% to 90%), the grading particle size is fine; the cost is low and the material consumption is low.
