Qualified raw materials such as lime and coke are transported into the factory by truck and stored in the corresponding raw material shed. Lime and coke are added to the batching trolley respectively, weighed on the electronic scale, and then transported to the workshop of the second floor of the electric furnace by the trolley, and the material is added to the furnace manually.
The charge enters the calcium carbide furnace, and the 11KV power supply introduces the current into the furnace through the three-phase electrode of the transformer. The electrode generates arc heat between the charge and the bottom of the furnace, and then transmits it to the furnace filled with the charge. Through arc heat and resistance heat, the mixed material can be reduced to calcium carbide. During the entire smelting process, the voltage level and current intensity on the electrode are set according to the smelting process parameters, and the values of voltage and current are different in different periods, that is, the power in the input furnace is different, the electrode is inserted in the furnace charge, and the gas escapes evenly from the entire material surface. The uniformly mixed charge is added to the furnace in small batch with the drop of the charge surface, so that the charge surface in the furnace maintains a certain height, and the shape of a flat cone is displayed around the electrode. When the liquid calcium carbide reduced in the furnace is stored to a certain extent, calcium carbide is released from the oven.
Under the prescribed power supply system, the electric furnace is fired once at an average interval of 1 hour, 24 furnaces a day, and the amount of calcium carbide is about 0.7t. After the calcium carbide is finished, the trolley and calcium carbide pot are pulled to the cooling room by the tractor. Calcium carbide is cooled for about 5 to 6 hours, and is lifted with a crane. After being broken, it is put into an iron cylinder and stored.
Each discharge of calcium carbide furnace sample analysis once, each sample analysis is required to provide the results of the furnace length and in front of the furnace within 1 hour.
Smelting and pouring are three shifts, and the annual operation days are 330 days.
