Structure and working principle
Pure oxygen and natural gas are used to mix and burn through the burner, spraying a flame of more than 2700 degrees Celsius, heating the furnace wall and melting the metal charge through the heat conduction of the furnace wall during the rotation process.
The furnace body of the rotary furnace is installed on the rotating frame, and the rotating frame can make the furnace body tilt in a certain Angle range under the action of the hydraulic cylinder, so as to realize the process actions such as charging, melting and dumping the slag.
At the same time, the furnace body can rotate around its axis under the action of the transmission mechanism, and the rotating movement improves the heating efficiency of the furnace, which is of great significance for the overheating of liquid iron. It is necessary to add a certain amount of slag-forming agent when melting metal in the furnace. Slag-forming agent and slag liquid have a protective effect on solid and liquid metal and can prevent metal oxidation.
There are seven kinds of rotary furnace, and the melting time of each furnace is between 60 and 80 minutes, in addition to the time of melting metal, each furnace also needs a certain amount of auxiliary time such as cleaning, feeding, iron, slag and so on.
