Equipment Overview
Upward copper rod continuous casting machine is used to produce large length bright oxygen free copper rods. The unit melts electrolytic copper into liquid through a power frequency induction furnace, isolates it from the air by covering the surface with charcoal (to avoid oxidation of the copper liquid), controls the temperature of the copper liquid at 1150 ºC+-10 ºC through an insulation furnace, and rapidly crystallizes the copper liquid in the crystallizer to continuously produce copper rods. Finally, it is packaged into products through auxiliary equipment such as a double end wire winding machine.
3. Equipment composition
The unit consists of a power frequency induction furnace, a continuous casting machine, a guide wheel frame, a tension frame, a double end wire winding machine, a water cooling system, an electrical system, a feeding system, and a temperature measurement system.
4. Equipment Description
4.1 Power frequency induction furnace
The industrial frequency induction furnace mainly consists of three parts: furnace body, furnace frame, and sensors. The outer shell of the furnace is a steel structure, and the interior is built with refractory bricks and quartz sand. The furnace frame supports the entire furnace and is fixed on the foundation by anchor bolts. The sensor is composed of a coil, a water jacket, an iron core, and a molten groove. The high voltage side (primary) of the sensor is composed of a coil with water cooling, and the voltage can be adjusted step by step from 90V to 380V,
The low voltage side (secondary) of the inductor is composed of a short circuited molten groove. After being energized, under the action of electromagnetic induction, a large current is generated inside the molten groove, causing it to melt and melt the added electrolytic copper. The water jacket and coil are both water-cooled, and the cooling water is recycled and provided by the cooling water system.
