6. Equipment Overview
6.1 Number of furnace bodies: 1 set
The furnace body consists of an upper furnace shell (water-cooled), a lower furnace shell, a furnace door mechanism, a bottom tapping mechanism, etc. The inner diameter of the lower furnace shell is Φ 3500mm. The furnace shell is a cone-shaped structure welded with 20mm steel plates. There is a thick flange at the lower end of the cylindrical part of the furnace body, and two support legs on the slag discharge side. There are circular holes on it, which are matched with two pins on the rocking platform to determine the mutual position between the furnace body and the tilting platform. An inclined iron is inserted at the upper end of the pin to connect the furnace body and the tilting platform. After the inclined iron is inserted, the furnace body can be lifted off the tilting platform as a whole.
6.2 Quantity of tilting devices: 1 set
The tilting device consists of a driving track, tilting oil cylinder, rocker platform and its horizontal support mechanism, and furnace cover opening support mechanism. The furnace body is installed on a tilting platform, and the electric furnace slag removal and steelmaking operations are completed through the tilting device. The tilting track is a steel plate welded structure, with its bottom surface fixed to the foundation and an engaging pin set on the upper plane. The tilting platform is made of welded steel plates and is used to support the furnace body and the upper structure of the electric furnace. The tilting platform cooperates with the engagement pins on the curved track below it to achieve the forward and backward tilting actions of the furnace body rolling.
The horizontal locking device of the arc-shaped frame is composed of a hydraulic cylinder, a support, and a pin shaft. The device is fixed to the cement foundation with anchor bolts, while the locking hydraulic cylinder is fixed to the support with bolts. When locked, the hydraulic cylinder moves to drive the pin shaft to insert into the pin hole on the tilting platform. Conversely, the pin is pulled out. This device is mainly used to prevent the furnace from tilting laterally due to the center of gravity deviation after the furnace cover is loosened. The angle of opening the furnace cover can facilitate the lifting of the furnace body towards the steel tapping side. The lower support of the tilting furnace hydraulic cylinder is fixed on the cement foundation, and its upper support is welded to the bottom of the rocking platform. The inclination angle during steel tapping is 20 °, and the inclination angle during slag tapping is 12 °. The tilting speed during steel tapping is 1 °/s. Tilt to 20 ° to pour out all the molten steel in the furnace to meet the smelting of new steel grades. The oil ports under the two tilting cylinders of the furnace are equipped with hydraulic control check valves, which can ensure that the furnace stops moving in case of pressure loss at any tilting cylinder position.
6.3 Quantity of water-cooled furnace covers: 1 set
The water-cooled furnace cover is a tube type dense arrangement structure, consisting of the furnace cover body, center cover, lifting ears, etc. The furnace cover body is welded with seamless steel pipes (20g material) and specially designed equal diameter elbows (20g), with cylindrical side walls and conical top to maintain rigidity. The top center part is a water cooling ring with an inverted cone shape, used to hold the prefabricated refractory material center cover. Three electrode holes corresponding to the three-phase electrodes are opened on the center cover.
6.4 Number of furnace cover lifting and rotating mechanisms: 1 set
The lifting of the furnace cover is achieved through two oil cylinders, which are embedded in the two bending arms of the rotating frame. The water-cooled furnace cover is lifted by the lifting mechanism, and a synchronous shaft is set at the front end of the bending arm to ensure that the furnace cover lifting process remains horizontal. The rotating frame serves as the support structure for the furnace cover and electrode lifting device, welded from steel plates, with a Г - shaped structural framework. The curved beam of the rotating frame is cooled by water. The rotating device consists of a driving oil cylinder, a rotating support mechanism, etc. It is installed on the tilting platform and drives the furnace cover and rotating frame to rotate through the pushing and pulling of the rotating oil cylinder. One side of the bracket of the rotating frame is equipped with a rotating frame locking mechanism. When the furnace cover is rotated back to the position directly above the furnace body, it is locked by the locking mechanism. In this way, the entire upper structure of the rotating frame is supported on the tilting platform and locked, making the electrode lifting mechanism more stable and reliable for arc smelting. The flat surface of the rotating frame is also equipped with small platforms, railings, etc. for replacing parts and maintenance of the upper part of the power supply furnace.
